This is going to be a fine gritty medium range hog dog. I live in south central Louisiana, and hunt off of mules behind my house. His best area is in finding dead birds (has a great nose for this) and retrieval. He has a steady point and backs well when working with my other older dog. He does not range very far out when hunting in dense or light cover and checks in with me regularly. Th is dog is big enough and strong enough to hunt all day in cool conditions. He has a very friendly personality and loves to be around people. He loves to play fetch and swim. He loves to exercise (I run him about 5 miles ever 2-3 days throughout the year) and is in great shape. He is good with kids and other dogs. He minds well and follo ws commands (whoa, here, dead bird, hunt dead, kennel, load up). We have a litter of beautiful CKC registered Miniature Goldendoodles that were born May 15, 2008. The sire is a 5 lb Toy Poodle with over 30 champions in his 5 generatio n pedigree. His name is Cody and he is both AKC and CKC registered. The Dam is our 44 lb Golden Retriever Glory. Glory is both AKC and CKC registered also. She was shown some as a puppy, but she did not mature large enough for breed show standards. Both Cody and Glory are family pets (Cody is an offsite stud - living with my sister-in-law and her family). They have wonderful, gentle personalities and are amazing pets. This litter is very small, weighing between 8 - 12 oz at birth. I am guessing that they will mature to 25 lbs or under, but I can't promise that. They are all light to medium golden in color. They were born in our family room, and will remain there until the y outgrow the whelping box. They are being handled daily, and will come to you well socialized. Because the weather will be warmer when they are being weaned, we will als o begin potty training. Their dewclaws have been removed, and they will be wormed 4 times before going to their new homes. They will also be vet checked and have their fi rst immunizations before leaving us. We will be sending them home with a gift bag that includes a bed, bowl, toy, baby blanket (rubbed on their mom so it will have her sc ent) and a small bag of puppy food.
